SOZO Restoration’s purpose is to supply professional Biblical counseling through life’s challenges. We believe that ultimate life and healing come through a vibrant and growing relationship with Jesus Christ that overflows into good relationships with self and others. We are committed to helping others reach these goals using sound Biblical principles. With this in mind, we are careful to compassionately come alongside each person and respect where they are currently in their spiritual journey.

At SOZO, we are Christians who share certain basic beliefs that Jesus Christ is a Personal Savior who died on a Cross for people’s sins. And it is only through a relationship with Him that we gain eternal life in heaven. We also believe the Bible was written through human instruments but was inspired by the Holy Spirit and is the infallible Word of God.

As the Biblical counseling process begins, we aim to be sensitive to each person’s spiritual concerns, experiences, and personal journey. Our Biblical counselors are equipped to include sound Biblical and spiritual principles in the counseling relationship. We believe that God desires that each person know the freedom and joy that comes from relating to God and others in a healthy way, and from realizing the truth of who they are as one created and loved by God.

Trained and Equipped for Biblical Counseling

  • Board Certified Biblical Counselor (BCBC) through the Board of Christian Professionals and Christian Counselors (BCPCC)

  • Over 15 years of Pastoral & Biblical Counseling experience

  • Masters in Biblical Counseling with a focus on Crisis & Trauma, as well as Marriage & Family

  • Member of American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC)

  • To schedule a virtual appointment for Biblical counseling, please call us at 803.883.SOZO (7696). Please provide your name, phone number, and the situation for which you are desiring Biblical Counseling. Someone will contact you as soon as possible.

  • A typical session lasts for 50 minutes, although your first session may last a little longer. There also may be situations where longer sessions may be scheduled depending on the need.

  • SOZO’s fees for services depends on the type of counseling (individual, marital, family, group, etc). Scholarship rates may be offered based on your personal financial limitation.

    Payment is expected at each visit and you may pay by Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, or credit card. 

    At this time, health insurance is not accepted.
